arriott International is always searching for
innovative ways to reinforce relationships
with existing customers and
make
connections with new ones. Global
Customer Appreciation Week is the
initiative that celebrates these concepts, as sales
and marketing representatives of the six Marriott
properties in Egypt came together with the Global
Sales Office in Cairo saying #ThankYou to all
customers around the country.
#MarriottSaysThx and #ThankYouIsTrending were the
theme. The entire scheme was driven by the increasing
popularity of social media that proved to be one of
the strongest tools used to reach millions worldwide,
including the rapidly growing Generation Y traveler.
Marriott Egypt team members were ‘Rocking Cairo’
from an open-topped branded double decker bus
as they visited Tahrir Square, the Giza Pyramids, the
Citadel, the hanging church and many more famous
landmarks to help promote tourism to the country.
Egyptians shared the excitement in celebrating
this novel and creative marketing initiative as the
bus grabbed the attention of people on the streets,
encouraging them to support the cause.
