GCAW2016cameat aperfect timing right after
theacquisitionof Starwoodhotels,whichmade
thecelebrationvery special and spectacular.More
associates andpropertiesparticipated this year in
thankingour loyal customersnot only inCairobut all
over theglobe. TheEgypt kick-off event tookplaceat
thebrandnew terminal atCairo International Airport,
whereMarriott’s sales andmarketingassociates
gathered tomeet thenewmembersofMarriott’s
growing familyanddiscuss theweek’sevents.
Thecustomer’seventwas a sight tobehold; heldat
Nile-RitzCarlton’soutdoor gardenwith theEgyptian
Museum in thebackground. Loyal customers from
all around thecountrywere invited toenjoy the
festivities andwerepleasantly surprisedwith their
gifts, includingdiscount vouchers at allMarriott and
Starwoodproperties inEgypt. Thatwasn’t all, as
throughout theweek, the teamswent door-to-door
to thankour loyal customerswithMarriott branded
treats.
Thehighlight of theweekwas surelyour “Spirit to
Serve” eventwhich tookplaceatCairoMarriott’s
Empress Lounge. AhlMasr Foundation’sburnvictims
and their familieswere invited for anexciting lunch
withMarriott’s teams and leaders,where theydanced,
sang their joyandenjoyed themagicianandpuppet
shows. Thedayendedwithplentyof gratitude towards
AhlMasr Foundation,which isbuilding the largest
burnshospital in theMiddleEast andAfrica region.
