29 Marketing teams set up a booth inside Smart Village on Alex Desert Road which gave guests the opportunity to engage in a variety of fun games and activities. The highlight of the week was the spectacular closing ceremony at one of Marriott’s newest additions in Egypt, the Marriott Mena House, Cairo. With the backdrop of the captivating Pyramids of Giza, the garden reception was magnificently appointed to host both Marriott hotel’s customers and associates. The event began with a brief video showcasing Marriott’s portfolio of hotels in Egypt and was followed by speeches by General Manager at the Marriott Mena House Omar Tantawy, and Vice President of Sales and Distribution of Marriott International (MEA) Paul Dalgleish. The event featured a stunning performance by Nesma Mahgoub and guests were treated to a charming traditional belly dancing show by Oxana. Global Customer Appreciation Week celebrations took place throughout the world in the hundreds of disparate locations where Marriott International operates. Moments from these celebrations were broadcasted and shared across social media using the hashtags #GCAW2018 and #MarriottSaysThx.
