28 MA R R I O T T MOME N T S Marriott Hotels in egypt thank their Customers in style at 2018 Global Appreciation Week T he month of November for Marriott International hotels all over the world saw our valued family of guests acknowledged and thanked as part of the 2018 Global Customer Appreciation Week. The Cairo Marriott hotel along with all of the other Marriott hotels in Egypt celebrated this event in a special weeklong occasion that marked their appreciation for their customers in an action-packed week featuring a variety of magnificent venues, events and activities. The theme of this year’s celebrations went under the slogan of “Unrivalled Experiences. Made Together,” and kicked off on November 4 th at the Le Meridian Pyramids & Spa. There, the Sales & Marketing teams of all the Marriott hotels in Egypt convened, and the first customer event was then held a few days later on the 8 th at the Marriott Mena House, Cairo. This involved members of the sales team visiting customers to express their appreciation and celebrate the success of the many fruitful collaborations that Marriott International could only have achieved with the participation and help of its valued family of guests. The Marriott International’s companywide Serve 360 initiative which pledges “Doing Good in Every Direction” was front and center with its initiatives to support the local community. As part of this commitment, members from the Sales and Marketing teams of the Marriott hotels in Egypt visited Dar Al Sondos Foundation for Orphans with Special Needs and presented a donation of EGP 85,000. Our dedicated team also organized three customer events. On the 5 th a golf clinic followed by breakfast at The Westin Cairo was arranged, this was targeted for corporate accounts. The next day a gym workout and stretching class followed by breakfast at the Nile Ritz- Carlton was held for our partnered travel agencies and TMC’s.
