for cake) andGuising (children
dressup incostumes and take
food,wineandmoney inexchange
for performances)which later
becameknownasTrick-or-Treat.
By the 1950s, thecustom tookon
the family-friendly formof today’s
Halloween.Now theholiday isbig
business forAmericans; ranking
secondafterChristmaswithan
