10 E X C L U S I V E TED FELLOWS SALON PROMOTES AND INSPIRES MEANINGFUL DIALOGUE ON EGYPT’S CULTURAL HERITAGE T he Pyramids stunning backdrop was host to Egypt’s first ever TED Fellows Salon, which delved into the topic of “Egypt’s Cultural Past and Present.” Leading the proceedings and sparking spirited debate amongst renowned TED Fellows panelists and attendees, were educational entrepreneur, Karim Abouelnaga, and East African singer and songwriter, Meklit Hadero. The TED Fellows event was an overture to establish and promote meaningful conversations and provoke innovative discussion through engagement and a valuable exchange of ideas.
